One Love (UC Hill Stage, 7:00pm - 10:00pm)

One Love is an O-Week event not to be missed! Originally conceptualized as an "anti-hate" rally, Western's One Love Rally aims to foster a collective sense of belonging on campus. The core messages are delivered by acclaimed speakers and performers with experiences in a range of social issues. Our goal is to expose newly arrived first year students to a host of messages that will create a foundation of positive values for their new life at university. One Love will broaden your understanding of the experiences many students at Western may face.

How Western Graduates will Save the World (UC Hill Stage, 7:00pm - 9:00pm)

It's time to break the proverbial "4th wall" with faculty. Come listen to some of Western's most decorated professors from all faculties talk about how Western graduates will save the world. Each professor will deliver a dynamic "Pecha Kucha" talk, which uses 20 images each displayed for only 20 seconds.

>> Saturday, September 9
O-Serves Day (12:00pm - 3:00pm)

Western students are big believers in giving back to the residents of London. By working together with your constituency, you will travel by bus into the community with your sophs to perform various service based activities (eg. car washes, park clean ups, volunteering, etc.). Together, our goal is to "time-raise" 10,000 hours of volunteering with local London community organizations and not-for-profit groups.

Closing Ceremonies (UC Hill Stage, 7:00pm - 9:00pm)

Close off your first full week at Western by joining your sophs cheering loud and proud for your constituency! Don't forget about the Variety Show, the "I Screwed Up..." event, and the carnival inflatables following Closing Ceremonies!
